Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are said to be visiting Manila, Philippines soon to promote Brad's film "The Tree of Life" which is going to be screened as the closing film at the 16th French Film Festival which is currently being held in the country.
At the moment, it is not yet sure whether or not the Hollywood power couple will be attending the festival in Manila but Pioneer Films, the local distributor of Brad's movie, through Wilson Yuloque said it is possible since Brad Pitt is also the producer of the said film.
“We can invite him to come here for the festival. He's the producer so he's excited and he wants more people to see the movie,
“[Pitt] coming here to the Philippines, you know, it's gonna make the Asian territory more interested in his work," Yuloque told GMa News.
Pioneer Films added that they are under negotiations with Brad’s camp for the actor to personally promote his movie in the Philippines and that Angelina may accompany him.
In 2009, Brangelina --the moniker for Brad and Angelina-- were rumored to have arrived in Manila after a US-registered private plane landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. They said to have spent a holiday in Boracay. However, that rumor was not confirmed.
Just last March, it was confirmed that Bragenlina inquired at a Manila orphanage Hospicio de San Jose about adopting a Filipino child. Are they going to finalize the adoption when they get here as well? Hmmmmm...
