Woman gives birth at NAIA 2

A 31-year-old woman gave birth to a male child while waiting for her flight inside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 in Pasay City on Friday, GMA News reported.

According to the report, Cherlyn Antipuesta Rojo delivered her baby at 7:45 a.m. at the airport while seated on the gang chair. She was waiting for Ozamiz-bound Philippine Airlines Flight 163 which was scheduled to fly at 9:25 a.m.

Rojo reportedly felt labor pains while waiting for her flight and subsequently delivered her baby right there and then. Her cousin sought help from airport personnel.

Rojo and her baby have been ushered to the Pasay City General Hospital.
