Lea Salonga, Darren Criss perform a duet of 'A Whole New World'

Tony Award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga and "Glee" star Darren Criss recently did an acoustic performance of "A Whole New World" as tribute to its songwriter Alan Menken who was presented with the 2011 Maestro Award at the Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Film & TV Music Conference.

There is actually an account of Twitter called @LeaSalonga4Glee which petitions the Broadway star to be on the popular TV series "Glee." Is the duet with the Fil-Am "Glee" actor a sign that the cry for Lea Salonga to appear on Glee was finally heard? It will be quite a treat for Noypi fans for sure but there is no official announcement as of this writing yet. We'll just wait and see.
