iPad 3 rumors are starting to circulate in the world wide web. One of the most fascinating rumors is that the iPad 3 will be transparent and rimless. That's according to an iPad 3 "concept video" posted a few months ago on Youtube which predicts that the new generation tablet will have a 9.7-inch multi-touch holographic screen and will weigh 0.6 pounds, with 10-hour battery life and 3G connectivity.

"Whether it is flipping a photograph or zooming a map, the operations have become more accurate and precise on the Apple iPad 3G. With photos, audio, and HD video at your fingertips, this 3G iPad is multimedia redefined. The iPad 3 is the perfect blend of performance and awesomeness." the video's description reads.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that the iPad 3 is set to be launched in February 2012. The tablet is said to feature improved screen resolution, responsiveness and very possibly 4G as well.

Citing "sources in the supply chain," Digitimes said the iPad 3 is "expected to be available in the next 3-4 months as makers in the supply chain have started delivering parts and components for the new tablet to OEM contractors while reducing those prepared for iPad 2"

"Foxconn Electronics will begin to produce the next-generation iPads in January and to ramp up the production volume starting February," Digitimes added.
