Bagyong Juaning (Tropical Storm Juaning) "is now over the West Philippine Sea heading towards Southern China," the PAGASA said Wednesday evening.
According to the 11 p.m. bulletin of the PAGASA, Bagyong Juaning was located at 110 km Southwest of Laoag City at 10 p.m. today and now packing maximum winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. It is moving in a West Northwest direction at 19 kph.
Public Storm Warning Signals (PSWS) have been hoisted over several areas in Luzon.

The state weather bureau alerts those residing in low lying and mountainous areas under signals #2 & # 1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.
Bagyong Juaning is expected to continue enhancing the Southwest Monsoon and bringing widespread rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides over the rest of Luzon and Western Visayas.
