Tropical Storm Ramon (Bagyong Ramon) "continues to threaten Eastern Visayas and Northeastern Mindanao," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Tuesday.

The state weather bureau has also hoisted Public Storm Warning Signals over the following areas:

The PAGASA also warns residents in low lying and mountainous areas under Public Storm Warning Signal against possible flashfloods, landslides and storm surges; and those living in coastal areas against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.
Ramon is forecast to bring an estimated rainfall amount of 10 - 30 mm per hour (moderate to heavy) within the 400 km of its diameter.
According to an ABS-CBN report, Tropical Storm Ramon is expected to make a landfall on Wednesday in Southern Leyte and will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday.
Bagyong Ramon is the 18th weather disturbance to hit the Philippines this year.
