Marcelito Pomoy, the "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2" ("PGT 2") grand champion, appeared on the July 2, 2011 (Saturday) episode of "Happy Yipee Yehey!" to promote "You Got It", a concert of the finalists of the recently concluded "PGT 2".

During his appearance, he was made to sing some songs which included a performance with "Happy Yipee Yehey!" hosts Toni Gonzaga and Randy Santiago. And once again, his performances were unbelievable, especially when he did the female register in "Hanggang Ngayon" which he sang with the hosts - he really sounded like the "Songbird" Regine Velasquez!

Wow! It was quite a teaser of "You Got It", indeed. Marcelito said the first part of the said concert will be aired tonight after "Maalaala Mo Kaya", while, the second part will be shown tomorrow after "Rated K." For sure, anyone who watched "Happy Yipee Yehey!" earlier are craving for more!

Marcelito Pomoy was proclaimed the grand champion of ABS-CBN's talent search franchise, "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2" Sunday night.

An early favorite, Marcelito outshone the other 13 finalists during the Grand Finals of the popular weekend show, which was held last Satuday night at the Araneta Coliseum, by performing a flawless rendition of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli's duet of "The Prayer", singing both the female and male parts distinctly. After an overnight online and text voting, Marcelito earned more than 19 percent of the total votes which was enough to win the competition. Happy Feet, the tap dancing duo from Bukidnon, and Freestylers, a dance crew from Laguna came in second and third, respectively.

Marcelito Po Moy, 25 years old and from Cavite, was awarded 2 million pesos. He is the second grand winner of the show, following Jovit Baldivino who won last year.

Next weekend, a special episode of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 will be aired on ABS-CBN, featuring the grand finalists in a concert. Season 3 will then premier a week after next, on July 9, 2011.
