Kate Middleton, Dutchess of Cambridge, "walks" alongside with her mother-in-law Princess Diana on the cover of the latest issue of Newsweek magazine. The photo-shopped cover is part of a speculative story imagining what the life of late Princess Diana, who would be celebrating her 50th birthday on July 1st, would be if she were still living today.

The author of the feature story Tina Brown also offers her opinions on where Princess Diana would be living (New York), Diana's probable influence in social media sites and the Princess' jealousy over Kate Middleton who married her son.

Reports say that people find the feature interesting but others especially seeing pictures of the People's Princess "back from the dead" find it a bit creepy.

While Kate and William are enjoying their honeymoon at a secret spot right now, there's a brewing legal battle over the publication of Pippa's old photos. The Middleton family reportedly filed a formal petition to Britain's Independent Press Complaints Commission.

It is up to the Commission to determine whether newspapers - including The Daily Mail and The Daily Mirror - which published the photos have violated Pippa's privacy, or whether it's a "public right to know" issue that would justify publication.

Meanwhile, a friend of the Middletons told UK’s Telegraph newspaper that “the whole family is furious at what they see as a betrayal,” as reported by Foxnews.
