The Philippine flag on Tadd Gadduang's T-shirts

Tadd Gadduang, a Filipino contestant of one of the most watched shows in the US "So You Think You Can Dance" (SYTYCD), is waving the Philippine flag not just through his amazing performances but through his T-shirts as well. For at least three (3) times on the show, Tadd have been seen wearing a shirt with the Philippine flag print or theme.

Wondering where Tadd buys his shirts? Well, I have no idea. Lol. You can try asking him through his Facebook and Twitter accounts I guess since he regularly updates them. :D



Update: Finally, Tadd answered where his shirts are from:



"Also, I've seen a lot of people asking where I get my Filipino shirts, and the answer is from my Family in San Francisco! They mail em to me and get em at some store in San Fran. I will definitely find out the name of the store and let you know! And I'm pretty sure you can find a lot more online! Yay! WALANG TAKOT!!" Tadd posted on Facebook.



By the way, Tadd and another Filipino SYTYCD finalist Marko Germar made it to the Top 6. Whew! Two more weeks and the grand winner will be proclaimed. Is it to going to be one of them? I hope but the girls are really competitive as well. Do you watch the show? :D

Filipinos perform on 'So You Think You Can Dance' | Marko Germar, Tadd Gadduang, Melody Lacayanga, Angeli Flores

This week is going to be an exciting one for Noypis out there who are fans of the top-rated American reality TV show "So You Think You Can Dance" (SYTYCD) which is now on its 8th season. Why?

First and foremost, Marko Germar and Tadd Gadduang, the 2 Filipino contestants of the show will be performing again with their brand new partners. The two had successfully made it to the Top 10, taking 2 out of the 5 slots for male finalists.

Secondly, Filipina Melody Lacayanga will once again be dancing on the show as one of the finalists' "all-stars" partners. Melody was the first-runner of SYTYCD Season 1.

And lastly, Blush, the first Pan-Asian girl group which has Filipina Angeli Flores as one of its members, will be performing their single "Undivided" on the show during the results night on Thursday!

Iba talaga ang Noypi!

"So You Think You Can Dance" is one of the most watched shows in the US. It is a dance competition and its winner awarded $250,000.

"So You Think You Can Dance Season 8" premiered last May 26, 2011. Its finale will be aired on August 11, 2011.

2 Filipinos competing in 'So You Think You Can Dance 8' | Marko Germar, Tadd Gadduang

Two Filipinos made it to the Top 20 in "So You Think You Can Dance Season 8", an American dance competition and TV reality show. They are Marko Germar and Tadd Gadduang.

Update: Marko and Tadd joins Top 10! :D Another Filipino Melody Lacayanga, Season 1's runner-up, will be performing on the show again as one of the 'all-stars' who will be pairing up with the Top 10 finalists.

Marko Gemar, 22 years old, works as a dancer in Disneyland US and is an expert on Jazz. He is fondly called by his family "Kimboy". He trained since he was 10 at a dance studio where he learned Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop, Ballroom and Gymnastics. Prior to the training, Marko already learned street Hip-Hop at the age of 7.

Meanwhile, Tadd Gadduang is a 25-year old dancer from Salt Lake City, Utah. He began to dance at age 15 as a hobby, but eventually realized his passion for it after graduating from high school. Since he had no formal dance training like Marko, Tadd considers what he does "urban dancing." He is currently a second-year college student taking up Psychology. He learned Filipino Martial Art of Kali at the age of 6.
