“I have reservations with the results. If the only basis is the Q and A portion…, after having been trimmed down to 5, Ms. Philippines deserved to win. What made her different from the rest is that she had no seconds to rethink of her answer as she had no interpreter to break the ice. The rest had their interpreters and having breaks on seconds to think about their answers. Hands down, Ms. Philippines answered straight to the point.”
The alleged Oprah statement made its rounds in social media sites and was even picked up by some news sites despite the absence of a reliable "mother link."
Just today, Oprah Winfrey's camp has denied the "Queen of Talk" making the said statement.
"There is no truth to the statement. Ms. Winfrey has not made any comments of this nature." the moderator of Oprah's official website said.

Other celebrities and personalities who turned Oprah's farewell show into a star-studded event include Aretha Franklin, Michael Jordan, Jerry Seinfel, Madonna, Kristen Chenoweth, John Legend, Josh Groban, Josh Groban, Jamie Foxx, Maria Shriver, Stedman Graham, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes, Dakota Fanning, Diane Sawyer, Beyonce, Rascal Flatts, Rascal Flatts, Lisa Ling, Carson Kressley, Jessica Seinfeld, Ally Wentworth, Bob Greene and Richard Daley.
The show, which is set to air on May 23 and 24, is billed as "Oprah's Surprise Spectacular" because not even the talk show queen know who would be appearing.
Meanwhile, the finale will air on May 25, which would close 25 years of the most-watched daytime talk show in America.
