The first photo of actor Henry Cavill as the DC Comics superhero Superman in the upcoming movie "Man of Steel" has been released by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures.

Kevin Costner and Diane Lane will be playing as Clark Kent's parents, while Russell Crowe and Julia Ormond will portray as Superman's birth parents. Michael Shannon is also set to play as General Zod, Superman's nemesis.
"Man of Steel" is set to hit theaters in June 2013.
