Manny Pacquiao Day
On November 19, 2011, pound-for-pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao will be honored at Aloha Stadium in a special ceremony which will take place before the University of Hawaii football game against Fresno State.

To be held at mid-field, the ceremony will start at approximately 5:40 p.m., prior to the introduction of the Warrior football team.

Mayor Peter Carlisle, Governor Neil Abercrombie, UH Athletics Director Jim Donovan, and Bennette Misalucha, the Past President of the Filipino Chamber of Commerce, will be heading the ceremony. On the same event, the Mayor will be proclaiming November 19, 2011, as "Manny Pacquiao Day" in Honolulu.

Pacquiao will also be gracing the Shane Victorino's VIP Party Friday night in Maui. And on Monday night he will be at Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki for a series of activities which include an auction and autograph-signing.

The eight-division world champion is also tentatively scheduled for meet-and-greet with troops returning from Iraq at Schofield Barracks.

Pacquiao vs Marquez IV in May 2012?

Pacquiao vs Marquez IV?
Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao has defeated Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez anew and once again it was a controversial decision.

After witnessing the crowd's disappointment on the outcome of the WBC Welterweight Championship fight between Pacquiao and Marquez over the weekend, boxing promoter Bob Arum said he is ready to set-up another Pacquiao-Marquez match.

“It was a great, great fight. I had Manny, but it was close, so why not bring them together again in May? It makes a lot of sense to do that,” Arum told Yahoo! Sports.

Prior to their sold-out fight over the weekend at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the two boxers had fought twice in the ring. The first one ended in a draw while Pacquiao won the second fight by a single point.

Pacquiao vs Marquez III, meanwhile, was scored by the judges 114-114, 115-113, and 116-112 in favor of Pacman.

The manner Pacquiao held the billiards stick was no amateur at all and knowing a trick shot like that suggests that he has been playing the sports for quite a while now. Hmmmmm... It would be nice to see him play pool with Efren "Bata" or Django one of these days.
